How to design teardrop flag or feather flag on Canva?

Master designing your teardrop or feather flag with Canva, the top online flag design platform in NZ. Our step-by-step guide will walk you through designing a teardrop flag on Canva in 4 steps.

Step 1: Start navigating to the teardrop flag kitsets webpage. Look for the section "Design Services and Teardrop Flag Templates for DIY." There, you will find a range of teardrop flag templates. Choose the option that says "Click to use our Canva template to design small teardrop flags (reduced size, 90%)." in this case. Once you click the "Use template for new design" button and open the template, the page will appear as shown.  

Step 2: To add your logo to the teardrop flag design, click "Uploads" in the left toolbox and select your logo. For optimal quality, use a vector format logo. Bitmap logos (PNG or JPG) are found under uploads, while PDF logos are stored in the project folder. Use "add page" to upload PDF logos, then move them to the first flag template page.

Step 3: Resize and rotate your logo by dragging its corners or using the rotation icon beneath it. The rotation degree will appear as you adjust. For a small teardrop flag with a 62-degree oblique side, right-click the object for alignment options.

Step 4, Share you teardrop flag artwork with us. Click the Share button at the top right corner and you will find the "template link" located below "Copy link." This will generate a link. Send us the link via email, and we'll take it from there.
