Best for: temporary fence branding, construction sites, events, schools, sports grounds and other exposed outdoor areas.
Material: 130gsm perforated fabric mesh. The small holes allow air to pass through, reducing wind pressure compared with a solid fabric banner. It is wind-permeable, not windproof.
Standard finishing: reinforced bands around the edges with an eyelet approximately every 500mm.
Size: this product is for banners up to 1.5m high, with no standard length limit. For any banner over 1.5m high, order through our separate extra large custom fabric banners page because it uses a different printer and separate pricing.
Production: normal production takes around 5 working days after artwork and payment are confirmed. Urgent mesh banner printing takes around 2 working days when confirmed in advance, with an additional fee of $25 + GST per m².

1. Custom Mesh Banners for Fences, Construction Sites and Outdoor Advertising
A custom mesh banner is a lightweight printed banner made with small perforations across the fabric. These openings let some air pass through the banner, making it more suitable than solid fabric for many fences and exposed outdoor locations.
- Use as a construction fence banner, construction mesh banner or branded site fence banner.
- Display project details, company branding, safety messages or sponsor logos.
- Suitable for temporary perimeter fencing and crowd-control barriers.
- Lightweight fabric is easier to handle, transport and store between uses.
- Turn an existing fence into a large branded advertising space.
- Custom sizing allows the printed mesh banner to suit the available fence area.
- Often described as a wind mesh banner or perforated banner because air can pass through the mesh.
- Wind load is reduced compared with a solid banner, but the banner and fence still require secure installation.

3. Fabric Mesh Banner vs PVC Mesh and Solid Fabric Banners
- You need a lightweight, economical outdoor mesh banner for temporary use.
- Some airflow through the banner is important.
- You want easy folding, transport and storage.
- The fence banner will remain outdoors for a longer period.
- You prefer a heavier, more durable PVC mesh material.
- You want a solid print surface and airflow is less important.
- The banner will be used indoors or in a more sheltered position.

4. Custom Fence Banner Sizes and Square Metre Price Calculation
Prices are based on the total printed area. Measure the finished width and height in metres, then multiply them:
Banner width × banner height = total square metres
Example: 3.0m wide × 1.4m high = 4.2m², so select the up to 4.5m² option.
- If the area is within 0.10m² above a lower price bracket, you may use the lower bracket. Otherwise, select the next bracket above the calculated area.
- This product is limited to a maximum height of 1.5m. For a taller fence mesh banner, use our extra large custom fabric banners page because it uses a different printer and separate pricing.
- There is no standard length limit, but please contact us before ordering an unusually long banner.
- Quantity discounts are available for multiple custom mesh banners; contact us for the best applicable price.
5. Artwork for Printed Mesh Banners
Fence banners are normally viewed from a distance, and the perforated surface is not intended for tiny detail. A clear layout will produce a stronger result than trying to fill the design with too much information.
- There is no fixed template because every mesh banner can have different custom dimensions.
- Add 20mm bleed on all four sides of the finished banner size.
- Use large, bold text and keep the message short.
- Choose strong contrast between the background, logo and wording.
- Keep important content clear of the reinforced and eyeleted edges.
- Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG artwork is preferred.
- Bitmap images should normally be at least 100dpi at final size.
- Use CMYK or Pantone colours and convert fonts to outlines or curves.
- Save the final artwork as a print-ready PDF where possible.

6. How to Install an Outdoor Mesh Banner on a Fence
- Check that the fence or barrier is stable, suitable and approved for the installation.
- Position the banner flat against the fence without covering sharp edges.
- Use suitable cable ties or cord through every eyelet, not only the corners.
- Work around the banner gradually so the tension is distributed evenly.
- Keep the banner secure enough to limit flapping, but do not overtighten or distort the eyelets.
- Inspect the banner and fixings regularly, especially after strong wind.
The perforations reduce wind pressure but do not make a fence banner windproof. Keep it clear of sharp or abrasive surfaces and remove it during storms or severe weather. A mesh banner cannot make an unsuitable or unstable fence safe.

Summary:
We run two production rounds weekly. Orders confirmed by Wednesday 5 PM are likely ready by next Monday; those confirmed by Friday 5 PM are usually done by next Tuesday. Most orders are completed within 5 working days. Same-week turnaround is only available through our urgent flag services. which are completed in around 2 working days.

Flag and Banner Maintenance
While our high precision sewing and heavy-duty European ink is at the best of the best in the market, the inevitable wear of time will fade your flags and banners. Here are some quick tips to keep your flags or banners in a longer lifetime:
1. Keep out of direct sunlight when not needed - our UV-resistant European ink still fare better without UV rays
2. Ensure there are NO nearby rough walls, poles or plants that will damage the fabric - constant friction may cause irregular tear, as the number one reason for failure.
3. Make sure the flag or banner is setup correctly - push flag to the end of pole tip and tie the cord stopper accordingly
4. Keep your poles for your teardrop or feather banners away from surrounding objects - avoid pole damage caused by collision with other strong obstacles due to wind
5. Not for very windy days - it's a good idea to take down your large banners if wind speeds exceed 55km/h, your small banners if wind speeds exceed 65km/h
6. Wash only when necessary - when washing do not use detergent, rinse in water only, no washing machine.
