1. What Is Included in a Medium Rectangle Flag Kitset?
Full-colour printing for your supplied artwork. Choose 2100 × 700mm, 1800 × 900mm or 2100 × 900mm, with single-sided or double-sided printing.
Sectional fibreglass pole hardware with a top support for the rectangular flag. Select the correct flag size so the supplied hardware matches your order.
Seven base options for soft ground, hard surfaces, indoor displays, walls and stationary vehicles.
A carry bag is not included. Add a heavy-duty flag carry bag for transport and storage.

Flag dimensions below are height × width. All three options use a 3m pole set; the printed flag dimensions are separate from the pole height.

4. Single-Sided and Double-Sided Rectangle Flag Printing
Single-Sided 110gsm Polyknit
The design reads correctly on the main side and shows through in reverse on the back. This is the lightest and most economical fabric option.
Double-Sided 120gsm Polyknit
Two printed faces with an internal blockout layer allow your message to read correctly from both sides. A practical option where customers approach from either direction.
Double-Sided Premium 150gsm Satin
Silver-backed blockout satin provides correct-reading artwork on both sides with a smooth, premium finish. Suitable for detailed logos and a polished presentation.
For double-sided flags, clearly identify the artwork for each face. Keep the main message short and use strong contrast so the design remains readable at a distance.
5. Flag Bases for Grass, Concrete, Walls and Vehicles
Choose the base for the surface where the flag will stand. For concrete or other solid, level ground, our first recommendation is the 10kg steel plate. A ground spike is the standard choice for suitable soil or grass.
Ground Spike
For firm soil and grass at open homes, sports grounds and outdoor events.
10kg or 20kg Steel Plate
Choose 10kg for everyday displays on hard, level surfaces. The 20kg option adds ballast where required, but does not make the flag suitable for strong winds.
Water Tank Base

The 2100 × 700mm template is set at 90% of the full print size. Keep its page dimensions unchanged; we will scale the artwork to the final production size.

Print-Ready Artwork Requirements
- Extend backgrounds to the outer template edges, including the bleed. Keep important logos and wording inside the sewing guides.
- The left side of the design is the pole side. Check this when placing directional arrows and preparing front and back artwork.
- Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG artwork is preferred. Convert fonts to outlines in supplied artwork files, or share the editable Canva design.
- Use images of at least 100dpi at the final print size. Enlarging a small image does not restore missing detail.
- Use CMYK for supplied print files and provide Pantone Solid Coated references when close brand-colour matching is needed.
- Upload files under 20MB with your order. For larger files, email a Google Drive, Dropbox or other download link with your order number.

9. Setting Up and Caring for Your Rectangle Flag
Assemble the matching pole sections and top support, fit the flag sleeves to the supplied hardware and secure the flag attachments. Place the pole on the selected base and check that the display is stable, with clearance around the fabric. Contact us if you need help identifying a fitting.
- Keep the flag clear of walls, fences, branches, signs and vehicles. Repeated rubbing or snagging can damage the fabric.
- Use the flag when required and store it dry indoors between displays to reduce unnecessary weather exposure.
- Take the flag down during strong winds or storms. A heavier base does not prevent fabric damage in severe weather.
- Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water and air dry. Do not machine wash or use bleach.

Does the kitset include a pole and base?
Yes. Each kitset includes one custom-printed flag, its matching 3m fibreglass pole set and your selected base. The carry bag and design service are optional extras.
Are the size measurements the flag dimensions or the pole height?
The 2100 × 700mm, 1800 × 900mm and 2100 × 900mm measurements describe the printed flag height and width. Each medium kitset uses a 3m pole set.
Will my design read correctly on both sides?
Choose double-sided printing if you need correct-reading wording on both sides. Single-sided printing reads correctly on the main face and shows through as a mirrored image on the reverse.
Which base should I choose for concrete?
We recommend the 10kg steel plate first for solid, level ground. A water tank is an alternative when transport weight matters, and a 20kg plate offers additional ballast. Always assess the display location and weather conditions.
Can I design my rectangle flag in Canva?

Flag and Banner Maintenance
While our high precision sewing and heavy-duty European ink is at the best of the best in the market, the inevitable wear of time will fade your flags and banners. Here are some quick tips to keep your flags or banners in a longer lifetime:
1. Keep out of direct sunlight when not needed - our UV-resistant European ink still fare better without UV rays
2. Ensure there are NO nearby rough walls, poles or plants that will damage the fabric - constant friction may cause irregular tear, as the number one reason for failure.
3. Make sure the flag or banner is setup correctly - push flag to the end of pole tip and tie the cord stopper accordingly
4. Keep your poles for your teardrop or feather banners away from surrounding objects - avoid pole damage caused by collision with other strong obstacles due to wind
5. Not for very windy days - it's a good idea to take down your large banners if wind speeds exceed 55km/h, your small banners if wind speeds exceed 65km/h
6. Wash only when necessary - when washing do not use detergent, rinse in water only, no washing machine.
