Custom Fabric Banners NZ – Extra Large Hanging Banners
Create a large custom fabric banner for an exhibition, retail space, stage or indoor event. These extra-large horizontal hanging banners are printed in full colour and made to your selected size, with widths from 2m to 5m and heights from 1m to 3.6m.
From $235 + GST: Choose the fabric, banner width and banner height from the product options.
Indoor use: Designed for suspended indoor displays where a lightweight, foldable banner is easier to handle than a rigid sign.
Important: The banner price does not include ceiling suspension hardware. Check the available hanging space, fixing points and venue requirements before ordering.
1. Choose Your Custom Fabric Banner Size
Select a horizontal banner width of 2m, 3m, 4m or 5m, then choose a height of 1m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2m, 2.4m, 3m or 3.6m. These large fabric banners work best where there is enough viewing distance for the complete design to be seen clearly.
2m–3m Wide
Suitable for smaller exhibition stands, retail displays, reception areas, stages and event entrances.

Designed for high-visibility indoor displays across larger stands, halls, stages and open commercial spaces.

3. Single-Sided or Double-Sided Hanging Banner
Single-Sided Printing
The standard online options are intended for a design viewed mainly from the front. This is normally the most economical choice for a banner mounted against a wall or facing one main direction.
Double-Sided Printing
Choose double-sided printing when customers will approach from both directions. Please contact us for the correct fabric, construction and price before ordering.

Supply a print-ready PDF or ZIP file with the order.

5. Artwork for Large Fabric Banner Printing
- Supply vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG artwork where possible.
- For bitmap artwork, use a minimum effective resolution of approximately 100dpi at the final print size.
- Convert fonts to curves or outlines before supplying the final file.
- Use CMYK artwork and provide a Pantone Solid Coated reference when accurate brand-colour matching is important.
- Keep important logos and text away from edges, seams and hanging points.

6. Production, Shipping and Installation Planning
Normal production is generally around 3–5 working days after payment and print-ready artwork are confirmed. Very large, double-sided or specially finished banners may require additional time. Shipping is calculated after the delivery address is entered at checkout and is shown before payment.
Plan the installation before ordering: Confirm the load capacity, fixing points, access equipment and safety requirements with the property owner, venue or installer. Suspension hardware and installation are not included with the printed banner.

Which fabric should I choose for detailed artwork?
The 160gsm silky satin provides a smooth finish for fine printing. Choose the 280gsm premium matte blockout fabric when opacity and a non-reflective premium appearance are more important.
Can the hanging banner be printed double-sided?
Yes. Double-sided printing is available, but the correct construction and price depend on the selected size and fabric. Please contact us before ordering.
Does the banner include hanging wires or installation?
No. This product is for the custom-printed fabric banner. Suspension hardware and installation are separate, and the fixing system must be approved for the site.
Can I order a size outside the online options?
Often, yes. Email flagseller.co.nz@gmail.com or call 021 997 058 with the required finished size, fabric and installation method for advice and a custom quote.
Can this fabric hanging banner be used outdoors?
This product is intended for indoor use. For an outdoor display, choose a fabric and finishing method designed for the location and weather conditions.
Summary:
We run two production rounds weekly. Orders confirmed by Wednesday 5 PM are likely ready by next Monday; those confirmed by Friday 5 PM are usually done by next Tuesday. Most orders are completed within 5 working days. Same-week turnaround is only available through our urgent flag services. which are completed in around 2 working days.

Flag and Banner Maintenance
While our high precision sewing and heavy-duty European ink is at the best of the best in the market, the inevitable wear of time will fade your flags and banners. Here are some quick tips to keep your flags or banners in a longer lifetime:
1. Keep out of direct sunlight when not needed - our UV-resistant European ink still fare better without UV rays
2. Ensure there are NO nearby rough walls, poles or plants that will damage the fabric - constant friction may cause irregular tear, as the number one reason for failure.
3. Make sure the flag or banner is setup correctly - push flag to the end of pole tip and tie the cord stopper accordingly
4. Keep your poles for your teardrop or feather banners away from surrounding objects - avoid pole damage caused by collision with other strong obstacles due to wind
5. Not for very windy days - it's a good idea to take down your large banners if wind speeds exceed 55km/h, your small banners if wind speeds exceed 65km/h
6. Wash only when necessary - when washing do not use detergent, rinse in water only, no washing machine.
