The finished height and movement depend on the bicycle, attachment point and riding conditions. These flags naturally move with the bicycle and wind; they are not designed to remain completely extended when stationary.
2. Single-Sided or Double-Sided Bike Flags
Single-Sided Printing
The standard price is for single-sided printing. The design is printed on one side, with some colour showing through to the reverse and the reverse image appearing mirrored.
Double-Sided Printing
Choose double-sided printing when wording or logos need to read correctly from both directions. The additional charge is $6 + GST per flag. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm the total.

Prices are in New Zealand dollars, exclude GST and are based on standard single-sided printing.
Ordering one set? A single 1.5m fibreglass pole set is vulnerable to courier damage when packed alone. Pickup is the safest option. Please contact us before ordering one set for delivery so we can check the available packing and freight option.

5. Bike Flag Artwork and Template
Download the custom bike flag PDF template and keep important logos and wording inside the safe area.
Prefer to design online? Open our custom bike flag Canva template, add your logo, wording and colours, then download the finished artwork as a PDF Print file.
- Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG artwork is preferred.
- Convert fonts to curves or outlines before supplying the final file.
- Use CMYK artwork and supply a Pantone Solid Coated colour reference when accurate brand-colour matching is required.
- Digital printing can reproduce bright colours but cannot produce true fluorescent ink colours.
6. Installing a Bicycle Flag
Bike frames, rear racks and attachment points vary. Review the product installation image and check that the pole can be secured vertically without interfering with the wheel, brakes, rider or luggage.
- The rear rack or rear section of the bicycle is normally the most practical position.
- Secure the pole firmly and recheck the attachment before every ride.
- Keep the flag and pole clear of wheels and moving components.
- If your bicycle has an unusual frame or no rear rack, email us a clear photo before ordering.
These custom bike flags are promotional fabric products and should not be treated as certified safety equipment.
7. Custom Sizes and Motorbike Flags
The standard 240 × 320mm size is suitable for most bicycles. We can sometimes produce a larger custom bicycle flag, but the appropriate size depends on the bicycle, pole length, attachment position and riding conditions. A 600 × 400mm flag may be possible after review; a 900 × 600mm flag is generally too large for a standard bicycle setup.
For a motorbike, scooter or higher-speed application, use the separate custom motorbike flag kitset. Bicycle flag poles are not designed for motorway speeds.
8. Production and Urgent Orders
Normal custom bike flag production is generally around 4–5 working days after payment and print-ready artwork are confirmed. Shipping time is additional.
Urgent Bike Flag Orders
Please confirm availability with us before ordering an urgent service. Add both the bike flags and the urgent flag service to the cart, complete checkout, then email flagseller.co.nz@gmail.com with the required deadline. Urgent production is normally around two working days when accepted.

Are the custom bike flags single-sided or double-sided?
The online prices are for single-sided printing. Double-sided printing is available for an additional $6 + GST per flag.
Can you make a larger bicycle flag?
Sometimes. Please send the required size, bicycle type and a photo of the intended attachment point. A 600 × 400mm flag may be possible, while 900 × 600mm is normally too large for a standard bicycle.
How does the flag attach to my bicycle?
The pole is normally secured near the rear rack or rear frame. Because bicycle designs vary, check the installation image and send us a photo when the attachment point is unclear.
Will the bike flag stay fully extended when there is no wind?
No. It is a flexible fabric flag and naturally hangs or moves according to the bicycle speed and wind. It does not contain a rigid horizontal support.
Can you print fluorescent orange or yellow?
We can print bright orange or yellow colours, but digital fabric printing cannot reproduce true fluorescent ink. Ask us for advice when colour visibility is especially important.
Can I use this flag on a motorbike?
No. This lightweight bicycle flag set is not intended for motorbike or motorway speeds. Please use our separate custom motorbike flag product and follow its speed restrictions.
Can one bike flag set be delivered?
Pickup is recommended for one set because the long pole can be damaged when couriered by itself. Contact us before ordering one set for delivery so we can check packing and freight options.

We run two production rounds weekly. Orders confirmed by Wednesday 5 PM are likely ready by next Monday; those confirmed by Friday 5 PM are usually done by next Tuesday. Flag and Banner Maintenance
While our high precision sewing and heavy-duty European ink is at the best of the best in the market, the inevitable wear of time will fade your flags and banners. Here are some quick tips to keep your flags or banners in a longer lifetime:
1. Keep out of direct sunlight when not needed - our UV-resistant European ink still fare better without UV rays
2. Ensure there are NO nearby rough walls, poles or plants that will damage the fabric - constant friction may cause irregular tear, as the number one reason for failure.
3. Make sure the flag or banner is setup correctly - push flag to the end of pole tip and tie the cord stopper accordingly
4. Keep your poles for your teardrop or feather banners away from surrounding objects - avoid pole damage caused by collision with other strong obstacles due to wind
5. Not for very windy days - it's a good idea to take down your large banners if wind speeds exceed 55km/h, your small banners if wind speeds exceed 65km/h
6. Wash only when necessary - when washing do not use detergent, rinse in water only, no washing machine.
