How to Design a Custom Teardrop Flag: A Real Example from Catch The Fire

The Design Brief: Teardrop Flags with Specific Branding Requirements
The customer provided specific brand colour requirements:
- Background: Catch The Fire Indigo
- Logo: Catch The Fire Red
- Text: Catch The Fire White
They also supplied their graphic design, and we used our Canva teardrop flag template to start the layout.
Initial Mockup and Customer Feedback
Our first custom teardrop flag design was close, but the customer requested the following tweaks:
- Make the Alpha Button red with white text (using the correct Catch The Fire Red)
- Adjust line spacing between “The Alpha” and “Course”
- Right justify the text:

After implementing these changes, we shared the final teardrop flag mockup, and the customer confirmed they were happy with the design.
