How Do I Order an Event Backdrop with My Logo?

Posted by Shane Lin on

A professional event backdrop with your logo instantly elevates brand presence at launches, conferences, exhibitions and photo moments. Below is a short case study and a simple step-by-step guide so you can order with confidence.

Case Study: NZME — From Bitmap Logo to Crisp Print

When NZME asked for a branded media wall, the initial logo supplied was a bitmap (raster) file. Bitmaps can look fine on screens, but when enlarged to 100% print size on a large printed media wall, pixels become visible and edges look soft. We recommended switching to a vector logo (AI, EPS or PDF). Vector artwork scales perfectly, ensuring the sharp, professional finish NZME required.

After receiving the vector file, we produced a 3-metre-wide custom media wall on premium fabric. The final event media wall photographed beautifully and matched NZME’s brand guidelines precisely.

Why Event Backdrops Work So Well

Event backdrops and media walls are a versatile and cost-effective way to create a striking visual feature at any event. Ideal for showcasing brands, logos, and sponsors in a polished, professional manner, these backdrops help boost visibility while blending seamlessly into the overall event design. Perfect for exhibitions, conferences, product launches, and photo opportunities, event backdrops and media walls ensure your brand stands out without overpowering the occasion.

Ordering a branded backdrop display is straightforward and does not require advanced design skills.

Step 2: Add your logo in Canva

  1. In the left toolbar, select Uploads and choose your logo file.
  2. For the best print quality, use a vector logo.
  3. If your logo is a PNG or JPG, place it from Uploads onto the flag template.
  4. If your logo is a PDF:
    1. Open Projects and choose Add page to import the PDF.
    2. Drag the imported page to the first flag template page.

Step 3: Finalise the Layout

  • Keep margins consistent and avoid placing key elements too close to the frame.
  • Maintain clear spacing between repeated logos for a premium look.
  • Review at 100% zoom to preview clarity before we print your printed media wall.

Step 4: Send Artwork for Proofing
